Portland College

Portland College is a charitable organisation committed to enabling people with disabilities to realise their potential through the development of functional communication, independence and employability skills.

The Woodlands Adventure Zone is just one part of achieving the college’s mission to support those living with disabilities and offering an outdoor experience accessible to all.

After a huge fundraising drive and generous donations from local business and supporters, the dream has finally become a reality. The Woodland Adventure Zone includes a climbing tower, 90 metre zipline, adventure trail, bike trail, areas for group/team work and sensory activities.

It is fully accessible to people with disabilities, including wheelchair users.

We’re pleased to be able to offer some free of charge sessions to local primary schools and disadvantaged groups, and open up to corporates and families to enjoy at weekends.
